At some point in time with your kids’ usage of UB Funkeys they are either going to want to move their game to another computer, or you are going to buy a new computer for them, or for whatever reason you will need to move their funkeys account. While this would seem to be a very simple thing to do with your ubfunkey, the reality is that it is not. UB Funkeys is a fairly new phenomonen and there are many things that are not documented well, either in their own manuals, online or in the “Google Community” as I like to call it. Kids love their UB Funkeys but when they all of a sudden can’t play anymore because there is a new computer in the house then that can cause trouble!

I ran across someone today who has posted the steps for how to do this very easily, however. These steps are from Zain:

Why? Well, basically moving a character profile is a pain in the butt because there aren’t any guides on how to move your new character from one computer to another! This product’s so new, there’s no forum on it. Luckily, I’m the type of person with enough PC experience and also persistence to work something like this out. So moving the character data from my “work machine” to the “home machine” (where it should’ve been installed in the first place!) only took about an hour once I’d had a proper look at the set up of the folders…

Anyway, if you do find you need to move your Funkey character from one PC to another then don’t despair. It *is* possible to do. Initially, my little boy was disappointed because he’d played for a couple of hours and bought a few things for his “crib”. Installing the game on the home machine, we found that moving the character over was a little tricky and we thought we had to start over from the beginning.

Not so.

Here’s how you do it:

Go to: C:\Program Files\U.B. Funkeys\RadicaGame\data\
Inside this folder you should find your character profile name as a folder (i.e. \YourFunkey’sName\ at the end).

Copy your character folder (most importantly, the “profile.rdf” file that’s inside this folder) to your other machine. The location must be the same.

Go to C:\Program Files\U.B. Funkeys\RadicaGame\data\system
Copy the “users.rdf” file from the first PC to the \system\ folder of the one you want the game to run on.

And that’s it. You’re all done and the UB Funky game should now run properly and give you the choice of characters in your “login” screen.

That’s an awesome UB Funkeys trick Zain - thanks for the tip!

As with the rest of the UB Funkeys there are three different versions of our friend Xener here. The Green Xener is the normal U.B. Funkey. The Red Xener is rare and the grey Xener you see here is very rare.

Xener means traveler in the Funkey language. In the late 40th century, Funkeys were obsessed with space travel and exploring the far reaches of space. They spent millions of coins, on missions that accomplished very little and caused a ton of hurt feelings. The last flight mission crashed and remains intact to remind them of this frivolous program. But the Xener still believed that space is the final frontier.

It was the Xener experience with travel that helped the guild of master technicians build the first portals. Their intention was to boldly go where no Funkey had gone before – the furthest reaches of space. Just like Star Trek! But they found the portals were not equipped to reach that far. An unexpected benefit was using these portals for travel throughout Terrapinia.

Now the Xener spend most of their time playing space video games, honing their skills, waiting for the day they return to space. But don’t you let them fool you - when pushed the Xener can fight as well as the meanest UB Funkey. If you are going to collect a UB Funkey Character I would say that Xener would be a good start. Especially a very rare Xener as you see here. This funkey can take you to placed no other funkey can.

Now perhaps I good starting point would indeed by the standard Green Xener but I don’t think so. How about the rare Red Xener? Nope, that Funkey isn’t for me either (although to get to certain places on the planet you will need to have him). No, I am convinced that the Very Rare Grey Xener is the way to go.

Good luck with UB Funkeys!

The Bones are what they are. There isn’t a lot there and they are very transparent. They don’t hide their feelings or thoughts from anyone. It’s easy to get under their skin making them often grumpy, disgruntled and frankly a little angry.

The phrase “you old bucket of bones” has come to mean someone who is in a bad mood, and if you “have a bone to pick” you are upset about something. But make no bones about it, they still have fun.

Most doctors in Terrapinia are Bones and they are accomplished at playing piano. Their favorite pastime is fishing, although their catch is often just skin and bones.

Do you sense a trend with these UB Funkeys collectibles? They are all fun and games! Of all the Funkeys I think I’ll the look of Bones the best. Bones are my favorite UB Funkeys.

As I am sure you can guess by the name, The Vroom have an instinctive love for anything fast and dangerous. Think of them as the James Dean of the UB Funkeys. Their natural mechanical skills and enthusiasm for showing off have given them the reputation of being the most daring of all of the Funkeys.

The Vroom strengthen this reputation by performing what appear to be ever increasingly dangerous feats, when really these stunts are carefully choreographed and practiced with safety in mind. Similar to Evil Knievel there is a lot of practicing a safety that has been done ahead of time to ensure the stunt gets pulled off correctly.

Most Vroom perform their stunts purely for the love of the stunt itself, and often do so before a cheering audience of their fellow UB Funkeys. They built a huge arena, called the Room de Vroom, on Laputa Station for their performances. Not exactly Snake Canyon, but it will do.

The Deuce work hard at being deuce, but the Vroom are just naturally cool.

Check out Vroom to get the coolest ubfunkey online game collectible there is.

As with the rest of the UB Funkeys there are three different versions of our friend Wasabi here. There is a gray Wasabi which is the normal U.B. Funkey. There is a rare version that is a Blue Wasabi and the white Wasabi you see here is Very Rare.

If it isn’t obvious by looking at him, the Wasabi are the ninja of Funkeys world. Naturally stealthy and skilled in the ancient art of Funk-Fu the Wasabi are extremely secretive and rarely speak. Always appearing silent and composed, their aloofness is often misunderstood and sometimes feared by their fellow Funkeys. These guys are 100% bad guys, ready and willing to kick major butt!

The Wasabi do nothing to dispel this image. Preferring to keep to themselves, they are in perfect harmony of mind, spirit and body. Honesty, self discipline and respectful behavior are their core values. This is very similar to Ninja. They are often deep in meditation, studying ancient scrolls, painting and sculpting or engaged in strenuous exercises to hone their fighting skills.

Wasabi physical feats are those of legend including stories of walking up walls and on water, and extended levitation. No one has ever challenged a Wasabi and lived to tell the tale.

Clearly, this very rare white Wasabi U.B. Funkey is a wonderful character to add to your collection.

As with the rest of the UB Funkeys there are three different versions of our friend Fallout here. There is an orange Fallout which is the normal U.B. Funkey. There is a rare version that is a Green Fallout and the white Fallout you see here is Very Rare.

The Fallout are the crazy, mad scientists of Terrapinia. Scientist, in that they are constantly seen conducting strange experiments throughout Funkeys Town. Mad, oh yes, because Funkeys are always asking them what they are doing and interrupting their “important” work and, more notably, Crazy, because their experiments rarely work.

The Boggle often follow them around cleaning up their messes to keep their many failed experiments from polluting the town. Did I say cleaning? Well, really they eat them. Yep, they eat them up. Yuck!

It is rumored that they are experimenting with the essence of fun, but what that actually means is a mystery. It is commonly believed, and discussed, debated and deliberated, that one day the Fallout will either discover this “essence” or release something quite the opposite – a destructive substance that not even the Boggle can digest.

When that is done will it be the end of the World? or will the Fallout rule the world? Is Fallout radioactive material on the real world? That is what many people think.

Regardless, this very rare white Fallout U.B. Funkey is truly a thing of beauty.

As with the rest of the UB Funkeys there are three different versions of our friend Tiki here. The purple funkey that you see here is the normal U.B. Funkey. There is a rare version that is a yellow Tiki and the grey Tiki is Very Rare.

What is interesting about the Tiki’s is that they are believed to be the first funkeys to populate Terapinia, which of course is the world on which the reside. All the other funkeys evolved from Tiki so obviouslly they were there well in advance! Estimates say that the first Tiki crawled out of the early primordial soup over a million years ago. I wonder how they spent all of their time prior to having any other UB Funkeys around?

Tikis were hunters and gatherers and as such they quickly became the dominant species. They built a thriving society, the ruins of which can still be seen in the MesoFunkey Plains. They developed the first language and writings, and were also prolific artists. They were truly the rulers of their early kingdom!

Tiki artifacts are highly prized by UB Funkey collectors. While once fierce warriors, the Tikis now live an almost Zen like existence and despite their ferocious look, they don’t eat meat.

If you are looking to kick off your UB Funkey collection I can think of no better place to start than a nice solid purple Tiki. The Tikis are the original funkeys in this awesome virtual online game!

There are three Glub characters just like other U.B. Funkeys, this yellowish one which is the normal one, and also a white funkey which is rare and a dark gray ubfunkey which is very rare.

These Glubs are a very strange lot. First of all what you need to know about a Glub is that they are fish. What this means of course is that when they are in the water all is right with the world. They get around just fine. The problem starts when they try to go somewhere out of water, then they are just that - a fish out of water! They are best used in water worlds.

The strangest thing about the Glub is that while their normal speaking voice is almost impossible to understand, they have beuatiful singing voices which are the envy of the entire U.B. Funkeys world. They perform their craft in the great Funkey hall, singling classics like “We Want the Funk.” Of course they also perform before sporting events and at parliament. This is a very useful funkey!

Despite how awkward they are on land they act like the whole the whole world. They stick their noses in the air and act like Paris Hilton. They think they are the top banana!

I like Glubs, they are some of my favorite funkeys.

My son showed it to me and it absolutely blew my mind! There is some secret to this game I can’t figure out because of course there is no way that Peter could know what you are thinking - it’s just a computer program!

I searched around on the internet to try and find the secret and I did find a website called The Mystery of Peter Answer where they seem to be implying it is a trick but they never actually write about what the trick to Peter Answers is! I know it isn’t real yet I can’t figure out how it works?

Have any of you been tricked by Peter Answers? Please tell me, how does it work?
