Last night I took the kids shopping at Target to spend some of their holiday money. My daughter had $15 to spend and one of the items she cast her eyes on were some Funkeys that were on sale for less than $5 each. She hasn’t starting playing UB Funkeys yet but she has watched her brother play on his. She toyed with the idea of buying a Funkey and then plugging it into her brother’s UB (that’s the bigger guy who is the main hub all of the Funkeys get plugged into), but I talked her out of it.
My understanding of the game is that it wouldn’t work to share a UB hub in this way, but I guess I could be wrong. In any case, Target didn’t have any U.B Funkeys Starter Kits
That wouldn’t work to share a UB would it?

Sure it would! my son just got them and when you first turn on the game you can create a new user. all your daughter has to do is create her own user name and login as that name every time.
You can share the UB hub. It has the option of a sign-on name and password for each individual player. So all the players keep their games seperate, and you don’t end up with multiple gadgets all over the house for each kid.
Yes, it would (and does) work to share a hub. My oldest son asked for this for Christmas, and by now, my youngest and I are also playing on the same hub. The software lets you create different accounts with seperate passwords.
Hi, my children, all three have been sharing a hub quite efficently. as long as you all log in after creating your own player then there will be no problems
my 3 kids each have their own account and share the funkeys that they have. the only thing i’m wondering is now that i have version 2 installed how do you get rid of the ummm lice/mites that make the guy brown and dirty. any ideas??
My boys share their Large UB Funkey. Actually let me correct myself, we ALL share it.
I am hooked on it too. You can have several logins on the main Funkey. But you have to do updates to each Login name. As far as i know, it is fine.
Yes my kids share one but they fight over who gets to play on it since there is only one and they can only play one at a time.

Message for Joe ie post 1/5/08. To rid yourself of the “cooties” as the game calls them, you must visit the local cleaning areas in each section. There are two in main terrapina. The fish fountain (step on the sewer grate) and the dentist which is close to the monorail station. If you have the keys to visit the space station (cant remember its name) or the ocean area there are cleaning stations there too. Here are some hints..if you click on the map in the lower right hand corner the cleaning stations are marked with a blue tear drop shaped icon. There are other icons as well..Ill let you figure out what those mean for yourself. It usually takes about 3 different stations to get completey clean. After each cleaning you will see different results and you can only visit each cleaning area once per game log on. Have fun!

p.s i found out how to get shards I have 1 but its hard getting them u have to get a certain score 2 get these shards and if u get an insane score ex. I havesuper vroom ball in my room and got 1250 points and got some stuff like a classic pinball machine and i found out these. if u want 50 xtra coins go 2 options then go 2 enter code then type inthe following:iluvfunkeys345 then u will get 50 xtra coins oh and if u get the new update do NOT MAKE A UNIQUE NAME! I have a friend that works with ub funkeys and he told me that if u do u might mess up ur ubfunkey game. believe me he had a LOT of complaints of it.
